Crocodile Adventureland

Also known as Taman Buaya, the area covers 20 acres. Half of this area can be visited by tourists, and the other half is prohibited, because crocodile farming takes place there. This park is also famous for its magnificent Malaysian flora and fauna. Here you can also see Malaysia’s largest collection of saltwater crocodiles.

There are more than a thousand crocodiles of all sizes and species living in this park. This place is divided into many parts that are made into pools that have been lined with concrete. Each area has a sticker that will provide important information about the type of crocodile that is in it.

Crocodile Adventureland is a great place to learn about the habitat, lifespan and other aspects of this animal. It was quite fun to feed them and watch them interact with the trainer. Visitors can also catch one of the stunt shows, if visitors want.

Sections in the farm

The first part is the Juvenile Crocodile Pool. It is home to many baby and juvenile crocodiles. Here you will find most of them sleeping with their mouths open or just resting. Visitors can buy pellets and feed 2-3 year old crocodiles here.

The Species Pool is where both alligators and crocodiles are kept together. Visitors will be told to distinguish the two species. Hooking Pond is also an interesting place to watch crocodiles jumping in search of food. There are also Show Ponds (A and B) where actions with crocodiles can be done. Visitors can pose with a 13-foot-long crocodile at the Crocodile Education Center.

The Bridge Pool is the biggest and most interesting in Crocodile Adventureland. There is a wooden and covered bridge that crosses the pond. There are many large crocodiles kept in this pond. Visitors can see deadly crocodiles below them when walking on the bridge. A staff member is on hand to warn not to lean on the fence to avoid.

Position

Dataran Helang(Eagle Square) was built in a strategic location close to the Langkawi ferry terminal port or known as jetty point. Here there are many facilities provided in the vicinity. such as toilets, restaurants, fast food restaurants such as KFC, Kenny Rogers, subways. There is also a Kandar rice restaurant. The surau is set up inside the jetty point. Inside this there is also a chocolate shop and HIG, which is famous for its plate and bowl shops such as Correl and Luminac. and many more. inside this there is also a Watson drug store and there is a 7 eleven nearby.

Get In

Taxi: It can be obtained from any park in the city. Visitors will reach here in 20-30 minutes. Visitors can also book a taxi to the park from the city center online. Taxis will pick you up from wherever you are in the center and drop you off at your destination.

Cable car: It’s faster and takes 10 minutes to get to the farm.

Rented car or motorcycle: If the visitor has a driving license and is valid for traveling abroad, then the visitor can rent a car to facilitate the trip to Taman Buaya.
